el4 lamps are devices which convert electrical energy into light or luminescence.

This is achieved by applying AC voltage across electrodes, as the electric current is applied it rapidly charges phosphor crystals which emit light.

el4 is vibration and impact resistant, it has extremely low power consumption which makes it one of the most cost efficient light sources on earth.
